JP give us a FREE FORUM
I have proposed (and will continue to) a "Free forum" where "antipoint" standings aren't even seen. Where IDEAS alone have merit. You wouldn't feel intimidated by a Sr member with 2000 antipoints....and where others wouldn't suck up to said member to curry favor.Poeple would feel free to post whatever ideas they had about a subject without fear of a negative(no pun intended Neg) reprisal. I fear that it would become a "free for all" without moderation and as I recall ThePreacher(Anthony) volunteered for this..although it's not totally revelent to your situation your feelings do reflect a matter that should be of concern. Many times I have seen a thread decay because the fallacy of "ad populace"(forgive spelling)would RUN wild among the posters. I think preacherman(not anthony) hit the nail right on the head.
When posting don't cut and paste...provide a link.(/me is guilty also) What alot of new members don't see at first is that there aren't many basic tutorials that most sr members haven't seen. They will nail you in a second if they think you're trying to take credit for someone else's work. Relax...make friends and allies..contribute to this community and you'll be rewarded...detract from it and....well you know;0)
ps..one more thing.....keep sympathy ploys to a minimum..I can see from the +rating of your post that you earned a good share of greenies.
