Joey_Batch_File, i can't believe your missing the plot here. mp3's really arnt the issue here, don't you think the record industry knows p2p isn't really hurting its buisness? This is all about movies, not the bootleg copys we download off the net, but streaming first run movies accross the internet to home entertainment centers. pay per stream. theater prices without the theater to pay. They want a well locked down internet, thats going to make them a ****ing fortune. No leasing lines from cable companies or telco, no HBO, showtime or satalites to launch. just right accross the internet to any place in the world. More profit than anyone has ever dreamed of.
Government officials have said that the internet will really not grow like they want it to, until movies are streamed accross the internet. If this happens the internet will no longer belong to us, we will not be welcome here.
