ms paint, wierd thing
when im in ms paint and i select to browse for a file or save a file my firewall detects that ms paint is trying to connect to trend micro (the Security and Av company) via ftp.
its only just starte in the last few days.
help!!!!

I've never experianced the above -but I tend not to use m$ paint at home. Have you recently installed any new programs that might have updated m$ dlls? Which version of win* are you using? Is it attempting a put or a get?

Are your AntiVirus DAT files up to date? When was the last time you performed a full scan of your system. I have a habit of using paint every so often, and I have never seen anything like that from Tiny Personal Firewall, Outpost, nor McAfee Firewall. The only thing I could think of is either a virus or trojan which is activated by running Paint.

no, ive runn trojan scans and virus scans but nothing came up. but my firewalls blocking it now and theres no side affects,ill continue to find out what is going on, thanks for the help
