It is an Australian custom to eat the oldest member of the family when one reaches 41. We usually do this by BBQing the relative on a spit in the backyard...
Firstly, the oldest member of the family is humanley killed by being bored to death with some of the more useless threads at AO..Once dead, the relative is then pierced with a sharp stick and hung over the fire to cook, spit style...We do this whilst riding kangaroos and wrestling crocodiles...
Broaden your horizons, vanman. Sample some Aussie culture. What have ya got to loose? (Except some boring, old relative)..
On a side note, the old women taste better than the men

Happiest of birthdays!!!
I don't really celebrate mine, I used to have parties when I was younger. I party more with friends on their birthday's than my own. I really don't see it as a huge deal for myself. This year is going to be my 21st birthday, so I'm really going all out.
I really hope you have a wonderful day...and best wishes to you in the many years to come.

Hi people,
I just want to thank everybody for the best wishes I have received on my birthday. I greatly appreciate it and hope that yours would be just as fulfilling as mine was.
All the young people, I just want to say your life journey is just beginning and therefore make the best of it, as you will reap the benefits later in life.
Well for us older (doods), just getting to where we are I think in today’s hustle and bustle is a milestone.
To conclude, life is a journey, enjoy the ride.
Regards
V/man

my birthday is the 12th, I'll be 20... I'll probably stay in my room and watch TV and/or work on my computer. If I'm lucky, someone besides me will remember and I'll get a check or two.
happy birthday, V-man... I wish you the best, and good times.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You're not an old dood!
I usually spend time with my family. I don't make a big fuss about my birthday, just another day after all.
Family, good friends, good food, a few drinks, darts, cards and that is more than enough.

Happy B-Day!
Three words for what I do on my b-days: lots of beer
Love is the only reality of the world, because it is all One, you see. And the only laws are paradox, humor, and change. There is no problem, never was, never will be. Release your struggle, let go of your mind, throw away your concerns, and relax into the world.
