Question for anyone participating in this project.
I have 4 boxes hooked up and I'm using the same user id and team 11416 (AO).
I know for a fact that my fastest box (1.9ghz) has completed 4 sucessful WUs but it still says only 1 completed under the Finished WUs: status.
Why would it not be updating the status? I didn't see anything in the FAQ about it.
Another thing... the other machines all have sucessfully completed WUs too, but they are not reporting on the team stats. I know I have the user id set and the team number is correct.
I was thinking about uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but wouldn't I loose my current work? I guess since its not reporting back it doesn't really matter anyway, does it?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
[EDIT]
Ok, I just looked further at the logs and saw that on all the different machines, I have completed 7 total WUs and I don't see any errors in the logs. It only reports 2 on the site and the status that is on the program itself.
I can provide logs if you'd like.
Thanks,

A few questions for you Phishphreek.
1. What OS's do you run ?
2. What clients do you use ?
3. Are you behind a proxy or a firewall ?
Its possible to run Folding@home and Genome@home with the same client.. I have set my client to take works only from Folding@home since they seems to be more stable.
If the logs tells that you succesfully have submitted the result it's probably something wrong with their stat-page.. They have had problem earlier with the stat page(especially for Genome users). But they have everything logged and all results will show up since nothing is lost .

1. I have a 1.9ghz machine running WinXP pro.
I have a dual p2 400mhz running Win2k.
I have a p2 300mhz running redhat 7.3
2. I am using the folding@home client that you provided a link for. I am using the gui version for my Win boxes and the console version for my Linux Box.
3. I have a firewall on all of my machines. I have given access to the program in question.
I am also using a dsl/cable router/switch. I block all the ports coming in unless the communication is initiated/established from one of the programs on my boxes.
I will disable the firewalls temporarily to see if that is the problem, but I don't think it is because the first results got out. I am at school right now, so I can't see if it has updated yet. I'll check when I get home tonight.
Thanks for your help.

I've been running the same block for about a week now and have my pc on almost 24/7 I'm running a K-6 550...anyways, last night I ran it all night long, and when I come back, folding wasn't open. So I started running it again, but I noticed that it was on a different block. Now I wouldn't have thought much of it, but when I left it about 8 hours ago, it was only on frame 56. So I looked at the log, and it looks as if something happened after fram 57 was finished because there are a bunch of strange ASCII characters after frame 57

“No, not anything. They name a lot of cars or clothes or swimming pools mostly and say how swell! But they all say the same things and nobody says anything different from anyone else. And most of the time in the cafes they have the joke-boxes on and the same jokes most of the time, or the musical wall lit and all the colored patterns running up and down, but it’s only color and all abstract. And at the museums, have you ever been? All abstract. That\'s all there is now...\"

Im sorry cF_nM I cant find anything related but I will remember that I heard something earlier but I cant tell what.. You may want to search the forums for an answer or try the solution below?
For those having problem can I advice to use the console client of Folding@home. For those having slow computers can I advice to run Genome@home (G@H) instead of Folding@home (F@H) this cause G@H dont have any timelimits and the results will still count and show up in the stats.
I found a good program (maybe not the best but it works for me) to measure the speed of the core and process of F@H and/or G@H. The program can be found at Electron Microscope. To install the "new" GUI follow these simple steps.
1. Download the F@H "No-nonsense text-only console ".
2. Put the executable in the same folder as your graphics client ("\program files\folding@home\"?)
2.1 If you experience problem uninstall the old client first and then run the "No-nonsense text-only console".
3. Download the EMII (G@H) or EMIII (F@H) GUI. (if u use f@h client to run g@h works then use EMIII).
4. Unpack the archive to a place you want to run it from.
5. Run the application and make sure to config it properly (se the help page for details).
Make sure to dissable the old gui client's autostart, and add it to the new gui client instead (EMxxx).
Now when running the Electron Microscope you will be able to see more details then earlier and that may help you track down bugs or even show you if you should choose G@H instead of F@H.
Hope this help someone to fold even more
