    Uninstalling tar.gz

    Sup,

    I was wandering how do you uninstall packeges that you installed from source like from .tar on a RedHat 7.2 machine is there a log where the files get installed on your machine when you compile it?Then delete them from there? Cause i just installed libnet amd just curious if i wanted to uninstall it how would i?

    go to the folder you did the make and make install in.

    most developers provide a make uninstall too.
