    I was just curious if anyone thought of putting a feature in to help people find other users around them , perhaps to meet up or anything along those lines.

    There's a location section in your profile.I think the reason it's not an option in the member list is because not very many people put an actual location in.It's usually just a country,or Mars,or something like that.
