Beware, the new linux nvidia drivers are causing a few problems, I was suffering from a system hang a day with these and have removed them from the system. I downloaded and installed the official Mandrake 9 ones.

While it locks up the X Window you can still get remote access to the machine, but all the kill commands in the world and the 'ctrl - sysrq -r' trick wont save the day, a re-boot is the only thing that fixes it.

Reading a few comments on the Mandrake Boards it appears I am not the only one suffering this problem, I might wait until a few bugs are ironed out before trying again.
