Conference rooms??
There is a special section on AO that allows people to have a conference. from what i understand, they are private threads that can only be shared between slected persons. but, on the forums list, there is one that says, "been to a conference recently? tell us how it went" ect. now, i am just curious as to whether certain people hold conferences in which newbies and of such can go to learn certain elements of computing. just for example how to use VB.
anyway, just curious if these are used by senior members to teach newbs and all the rest.
P.S newb will not have the option of conference rooms.

I think that forum means a conference that is an event, not one at AntiOnline. Defcon, the one in New York (forgot the name), etc, they are all conference's.

Private Conference Rooms are meant to act as "private threads" where you, and others that you invite, may make posts that only those within your group can read.
then it ask u :
Welcome to The Private Conference Rooms, What would you like to do?
either u press for ( open a new privet conf. room )
or if u were invited to a conf. then u must have ur
1- room #
2- room key
by selecting new conf.
there u go. step by step.
so, it's for AOers
u can check this as well:

well since people come from all parts of the world, i think it's a little difficult, for everyone to calculate their time zones and everybody will have odd timings to come on, i think that to be the reason why the feature is not that popular.
but if it's only for 3-4 people as bimmer's post's link suggested, everyone has one in 1 million chances to be invited lol
