The word virii is the plural of virus. And for the benefits of downloading virii.....hmmm, no benefits, unless you wanna study the code.
Ubuntu-: Means in African : "Im too dumb to use Slackware"

a great many hacking tools are considered virii or at least some of it code appears in virus signitures. for instance if your downloading a trojan your AV software will pick it up for what it is. if a program can send out a DoS its considered a DoS virus by most AVs
Bukhari:V3B48N826 “The Prophet said, ‘Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half of that of a man?’ The women said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is because of the deficiency of a woman’s mind.’”

There is nothing wrong with studying malware. It can be very informative when done properly
ie: see how it works, and how it does what it does. Just do so in a lab enviroment. In other
words offline preferably in a small lan of your own. Or just take your boxen offline and let er
rip. It is an excellent way to learn how these things work.
