Windows2000 pro
I have been hired by a small company as a contractor to try to hack into their network. This is what I have so far:
Windows2000 Professional on my Laptop.
IPTools install on my laptop.
NMap install on my laptop.
I have been told to use some if not all of these tools;
WS_Ping Propack
NETScan Tools
SAM Spade
Rhino9 Pinger
Visual Route
And obviously John the Ripper as a pass cracker.
Any advice on these tools?
Any other tools recomended?
What else do I need (beside brain's)?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Heh. Lemme get this straight. You have been hired to hack a this companes network???
If they are serious they will find someone else todo that for them
You want to test their security i presume and yet you seem to have no idea what todo.
I recomend you tell them honestly that you have no idea how to do this. Its in the companies best interest. Im sorry if my words are harsh, but :
Any advice on these tools? Any other tools recomended? What else do I need (beside brain's)?

Any other tools recomended?
hammer and chisel!
What else do I need (beside brain's)?
A copy of Harry Potter Book No 5-explains step by step, how to do it!
You also need to ask them to hire someone else who knows how to do it!
