Irc ?
Hi i need some help with this, today when i wanted to try something out on my local FTP, i started a Traffic sniffer program and i discovered that i got alot of IRC traffic, and i don't have any IRC running on my computer, the only program that uses the internet is my web server, DNS and messenger, anyone that knows how to stop this ?

Hmmm, is it by any chance msn messenger?
The reason why im asking this is because msn chat is an ircX. Its irc based. So packets may look similar with normal irc. Try without messenger enabled and look if you still have that kind of traffic. That applies only if its msn messenger though.
Good luck.
