Is it just me or in the year or so has microsoft been feeling some pressure and losing the "love". With the Xbox losing Billions this year (I realize its an investment for the future)

And how could I forget the SQL Slammer that is still affecting the internet? I think its time for americans in general to get a grasp and start to learn other OS's. I realize that Microsoft wont go bankrupt but there certainly are a lot of things stacking up against them lately. Could this be why they are opening up their source code to governments across the world? Just thought some ppl might be interested in this
