    Please Help me out of this ???

    Hi,

    Hey i i am in a big problem.....i've forgotten the password to one of my Excel Files.......Can neone help me out of this.........please suggest what can i do.....i am using Excel 2000 on Win98 platform.

    You have a couple of different options...

    1) keep trying passwords that you have used. I don't think office files have a lockout count. You are bound to get it sometime. If not... then the files probably don't belong to you in the first place.
    2) recreate the files from memory/print outs
    3) get a m$ office password recovery application. most of them cost $$ and they are easily found using a search engine.
