Not trying to sound stupid, but why were you looking for an "older" version of DirectX? Sounds interesting...
Cool URL though!
[shadow]There is no right and wrong, only fun and boring...
Formatting my server because someone hacked into it sounds pretty boring to me...
That\'s why it\'s all about AntiOnline.com![/shadow]

You think that's silly....top this! ;)
Last night I reinstalled windows 3.1 on a pentium then upgraded that to win95 and got rid of the Mandrake 8.1 that I was running on that box. Crazy? Yes. But I have my reasons!
By the way..here is a good link (though not set up well) for boot disks.

Nothing wrong with a little old school experimentation..
I've got an old 486 box with Windows 3.1 still up and running at my place.. Every now and then I just play around with that box just for kicks - I play a few games and stuff like that with it.... It was with that box that I really started learning about computing, so maybe I've got it around for sentimental value...

I completely agree. Too, it is really nice to have a box that you couldn't care less about....one that isn't needed for things necessary. This old pentium allows me to be a little more daring than I would be with the machines I use for programming. Incidentally, I'm looking at installing some gnu utilities on the pentium, so that's why I was making all the changes.
