CHOICE, bat (programming) syntax, not found in XP.....
hey Ive been reading up on the bat tuts in the FAQ. And they are great tutorials, though the option CHOICE, is not found in XP. So none of the examples Ive read work. So what I'm asking is, what is the XP equivalent of CHOICE.
Thanks fellas
'Pardon the newb question, because I know how most of you hate talking about bat (programming) because its "lame".

Hey Hey
Choice was only available until MS DOS 7 with win 9x.. It was released however as an add-on with the Windows NT Resource Kit. You can find choice available for download here

Hey thanks.
I can't believe you have to download something though. Someone should add this link below the bat file tuts in the FAQ.
