PtP networks question.
this is not a security related question but i figured that most of the users of PtP networks use Windows. Sorry...
Anyway my question is: Is there only one PtP network in existance ("Gnutella"), or are there any other. If I'm correct, LimeWire, Kazaa, BearShare are all different clients for "Gnutella"

There are actually quite a few out now...
There are several for practically every OS that you could think of...
Visit google's directory of file swapping services HERE.
The ones that are Gnutella are here.
Kazaa is actually not part of Gnutella.

I believe there are other alternatives as well. One being Direct Connect: http://www.neo-modus.com/
