but also i think there is some confusion in the terms, russia said it would veto any war resolution and would not support any resolution that allowed war, meaning they would likly abstain. france said it would veto ANY resoultion that sought to impose any kind of timeline or consequences in iraq, basicly giving saddam free rein to do whatever he wanted. the date of who said what is irrelevant because they arent saying the same thing.
