What for you remove it cos it is the exploits found to patch your WinXP and you making your system in vulerability. This patch is working fine for me,no slow down or conflict with anything.

As with any complex system sometimes new bugs are introduced with the patches. You see this with any os, and about any software package. It's not just microsoft.

Sometimes it is better (judgement call) to simply wait a week or so and see what problems pop up with the patch before installing. It is always a good idea to put the patch on a test or staging environment and verify the system works as before (within reason), and that the bugs are actually fixed by the patch.

Yeah, but that's not a big deal. The users could uninstall the patch and their computers would be up and running at normal speed again.
The big problem is that there are lots of people who are offering fake patches saying that the patches they are offering won't check the registration key, and the patches MS offers will. People who are running stolen versions of XP then download these fake patches only to be infected with a trojan. I've seen it all over usenet and IRC, people need to be much more cautious.
Anyways, just be careful people, I've seen it happen so many times. If you don't download the patches from MS, make sure you scan them before you run them!

You where the same guy that was blasting any one who used MS on antoher thread, now you are claim the MS patch works perfecty
This one dose slow down your system in a lot of cases, and unless you are worried about loacl security (ie some one sitting at the machine elevateing their privs) its not a big deal, so uninstall the patch. Its not needed and causes more harm then good

To me,you seem more like a empty vessel making lot of noises.IF YOU REALLY KNOW,I DO NOT SEE WHY YOU MAKE SUCH A COMMENT.The reason is simple cos you do not know.It is better to remain silent and nobody will say you are dumb.I think you better learn to read more and test it yourself before commenting this.

Why is that you have a "Mr. Know It All" attitude in almost every thread you post to?

The article says it may slow your system. It doesn't mean that it will do it everytime to everyone. People have had mixed results. Just because you don't have trouble, doesn't mean that the next person isn't going to.

Maybe you should take your own advise? (read the quote above)
