    Cool STP

Do want to know about STP or ScTP, because you need to cut the shield or screen with the cable.

Ya. I want to make a STP cable. I need to know what special things I need to do for the connectors.

On a slight tangent, has any one worked with the new Compaq blad servers yet, the internal nics are great on these things, no more need for crossover cable it auto detects if its pulged into another computer or a device and then crosses internaly.

    Cool STP

STP is industry made to order, I think get Cisco people to look at what you need, it is expensive after all, and ScTP is cheaper and may be what you want.
