**Moved thread from Antionline: How do I? to General Chit Chat**
Without knowing what OS and hardware setup there could be any number of reasons for the reboot:
- bad power supply
- overheating
- lots of dust (causing overheating)
- trojan infection
- remote control software (a la XP) used to control the OS

i have a lot of problem due to overheating and dust
but it usually gives the "blue screen of death" of the fatal exeption error and stuff
my comp has restarted suddenly like this only once 1.5 years back
thanx

How much RAM do you currently have? I remember when i only had 128mb and my computer was always restarting(this was when running multiple applications though), after i bumped up to 512mb it never happend again. However, I'm leaning more twoard MsM's thoughts on this one.

Everybody here is right about what the problems might be. I might add thoguh that it might be a good Idea to run a virus scan to make sure.
A little more detail on your setup would be good to.
