Linux with Windows File System?
Is it possible to install some Linux using the Windows File System, because right now I have a minidistribution wich isn't very usefull and I do not want the usable space of my disk to shrink in Windows(4GB).

err... I'm disappointed with you two... c'mon gore and phish... you should know that you can install linux to fat32... it's not very good and their is a huge performance hit but you can do it... described for RH here
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/l...tallation.html
and here
http://www.holambra.freeserve.co.uk/...ppendix-a.html
and here
http://learn.wwtc.edu/aev/linux/linu...-PARTITION.htm
I don't know about other flavours of linux and I don't know what you want to use ha-lf but it can be done. I haven't used RH for some time but the above seem relatively straightforward.

yup, you're right zonewalker,
and if you just want to use some linux stuff on windows take a look at cygwin, wich has been discussed here before..
or just install linux on a spare box and play with it, if you have the luxury of an obsolete pentium box somewhere..

I meant that if I repartitioned my disk I would only be able to use 2gig of it in Windows and the other 2gig in Linux. I want the 4gig to be accessible from both operatingsystems
