Okay, I will say it. I can't belive I am actually participating somewhere that the legendary Captain Crunch is part off. I know that there are many of you here who are just as intelligent and have contributed much to the communtiy but you have to understand that he is kind of like a posterchild for the original "hacker" When someone of my generation thinks of the classic "hackers", we think of names such as LoD and MoD, RTM, and Cap'n Crunch. Some of us do read about the old days and say "that is what I want to be, someone who pushes the limits for intellectual reasons". I get a serious kick out of reading some of the old boxes specs just to see how they did it. I have even read the tinfoil thing before. The point of all of this is just to say thank you to all of the old school hackers, young and old, for setting an example for some of us to follow. The old days may be gone, but some of us do remember and abide by the old code.

LOL, same here, i dunno what to say. GREAT. Now i can tell my kids one day that i was a member of a site where the Legendary captain crunch has left his marks
Oh, and i dont think the old days are truly gone. It might be a bit different, but there still are active gurus out there, somewhere on this immense network, the network that they have helped to create and make what it is today.
Cheers.
