FLAME ON
Oh Sectac you are so close to Matrix Heresy. My jaw dropped, my eyes glazed over, and I had to count to 100 when I read your post. How dare you call that hottie a script kiddie. It just ticks me off when immature losers like you post these one line critiques like we care what you think. Do you really think it makes you look better to be dragging others down to your moronic level by calling them names - Jerkboy. Do you really think that commenting on people's lives that you don't even know somehow increases your stature? How pathetic you must be, I'm glad we've never met. I can't believe you would worry so much about a character in a movie that you would feel it necessary to denegrate her. If you say one more demeaning thing about Trinity I will rip your heart out.
FLAME OFF
Just kidding. Figured you would get flamed anyway for challenging the religion of the matrix so I thought I would have fun doing it first. However, It was made very clear in the first movie that she was a true hacker and had gained fame in her own right. Just because she used a script tool this time as a short cut is not concrete evidence that she is a script kiddie. Script kiddies are those who use tools and think they are Uber. Not those who are Uber and happen to use scripts occasionally.
Hope this clarifies my thoughts on the situation. Oh, and if you took the original flame personally I apologize but if you read it carefully I believe you will see I am spoofing my own flame by doing exactly what I am criticizing.

The ending....(or is it)
hey Everyone,
Well, just to clear some stuph up... Here is what I belive happend in the end of the Matrix Reloaded... First, neo could kill the sentiels because he blieved that he was still inside the Matrix...Which is true...Cuz that architect dude says that the oracle found a way to keep the minds of humans accepting the program... The way she found was to let them think that they were free... By taking them away from the other part of the Matrix and making them only able to "hack" into it... See, so it isn't a "sub-Matrix" that they are in... It is the same matrix that they were in before... Just with new wallpaper and better physics hehehe!!!
Also, the guy on the table beside neo in the end of the Martix reloaded is named, Bain.... hes that guy who got caught by the former agent "smith" when he tried to exit from the Matrix... Now, in my opinion, he is possesed by agent smith... Sux huh?
Anywayz, I hope that ya luved the movie as much as I did! Cuz it was great! Not only that... but the movie stayed true, and actually used a real networking tool! Instead of taking the easy way out and using a GUI.. Like in another movie.. not mentioning any names....(Cuz there are many....Hackers,Wargames,masterminds,ect...)
So, the next movie many finally answer the question.... WHAT IS THE MATRIX???
(I'm not sure I really wanna know)

The point of negs are to punish people for making incorrect or stupid posts. How can you learn from youre mistakes if you don't know what you did?

So, you assume that geeks are losers forever destined to be lonely and overworked? I resent that. I'm about as outspoken as someone can be with my geekiness, yet I have a girlfriend... Yes, I do, believe it or not.
In closing, geeks are not losers. Geeks are a superior breed of humans. Want proof?
I hate people. I'm glad I'm not a people. I'm a geek.

I know you\'re out there. I can feel you now. I know that you\'re afraid. You\'re afraid of us. You\'re afraid of change. I don\'t know the future. I didn\'t come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it\'s going to begin. I\'m going to hang up this phone, and then I\'m going to show these people what you don\'t want them to see. I\'m going to show them a world without you, a world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

As a geek I'd say that was a pretty good description. I really don't get lonely, I can pretty much entertain myself for days (and I'm married). I do however get overworked, thats just because I don't want to get labeled as a loser by the other geeks I work with who put in 60 hours a week regularly. Geeks are not a superior breed of humans, we just make 3-4 times more a year than everyone else

as far as the time discussion goes, in the matrix, it's supposed to be close to 1999, plus maybe 6 mo's or so. On the other hand, they were driving model year 2003 cadillacs (an escalade pickup and a [[sts?]])
regardless, time was never defined in the second movie, and i can't remember whether or not morpheuis that that they had freed more in 6 mo's since neo, or just in the last 6 mo's
i\'m starting to think that i\'m bound to always be the first guy on the second page of the thread.

SickyouIT: Good point about the vehicles, this would rate as a movie faux pas IMO. Not a big deal but a fun bit of trivia to look for next time I watch it (of course I also read the nitpickers guide to Star Trek but am still a Trekkie so that should show my viewpoint on the issue).
However it is Turmoil who has really "baked my noodle". I realize I will have to watch the movie again soon as there are obviously many nuances that I missed. Just to clarify what you said (or what I read into what you typed) you think that when Neo (and the others) were "freed" from the Matrix they were actually just moved into another "Matrix" but their bodies are still really intact and under the machine's control. So the machines built a control loop to allow the most dangerous elements a chance to escape into a different reality where their aggressive tendencies could be rechanneled into an artificial war.
This would tack onto the final control loop that allowed for the development of "the One" and the whole attack on Zion. If I take this to an obvious conclusion then it would mean that everyone living "free" in Zion was actually still tapped into the Matrix just on the (for lack of a better term) second server running the alternate program.
So far I am finding it hard to bring any arguments against this theory if it is correct.
Although it would mean that either A) the machines won the war entirely the first time and there is no human enclave, or B) there may be a war still going on outside of the Matrices that we have not seen yet. <sarcasm> Maybe they can tie it into the Terminator Series for a great cross marketing action toy line</sarcasm>
It will be interesting to see how the series does wind up, I just hope it follows the same production values and excellent plot development we have seen so far.
P.S.
One happily married Geek here with 2 married kids. My only warning to you up and coming Geeks looking for a relationship, marry a geek or better yet marry someone who has a lot of interests of their own. My wife and I can be happy spending the day together or happy doing our own things. She allows me my computer time she gets her time to pursue her hobbies, activities, etc. We are free but bound together at the same time. I must admit though that I got married at 28 and had no girl friends before that and very few dates. Just waited until I found Mrs. Right and snatched her up quick From loser to the envy of all my friends
