RedHat Linux 8.0 vs. 9.0

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew the differences between RedHat Linux 8.0 and 9.0. I have the CDs inside a book for 8.0 but I can download and burn the ISOs for 9.0 if I need too. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but I really think that this is wishful thinking
on your part. First of all, there is no Red Hat Linux 9.0.

I thought the question was whats the difference between Redhat 8 vs Redhat 9?

Well i havent had a look at 9 yet but heres a snippet from http://public.planetmirror.com/articles/rh9/ detailing just some of the new features and enhancements in this release

The 2.4.20 kernel - including a number of security patches, as well as several features back-ported from the development 2.5.x kernel series. Among these features, the inclusion of Native POSIX Thread Library and a new scheduler algorithm represent significant enhancements to performance.
Xfree86 4.3.0 - this release sees a great many new features and drivers, including the new Xcurson technology, the ability to change the root window resolution on the fly, and updated ATI Radeon DRI drivers.
GNOME 2.2 KDE 3.1 - up-to-date releases of the two popular desktop environments are including the RH9. As with RedHat 8.0, the default theme for each of is "BlueCurve", which has also seen some nice eye-candy enhancements.
Update applications all-round - RedHat have included updated versions of many of the included applications, as is expected with a new release. Notably, they only included the 1.2.1 Mozilla release, not the latest 1.3, however the RPMs for RedHat 8.0 located here are known to work with RedHat 9 as well.

Hmm... so I should use Mandrake? Is there any comercial books or detailed eBooks (like PDFs or something I can download) on Mandrake? Is it very popular. Please excuse me!

And 9 is more secure than 8? The kernel has some security upgrades I think I read right?
