info. about my 2 cents
I am not able to find information regarding the theory behind 'worth my 2 cents'. What is it all about and what is it's history? What is the main phenoumenon behind saying it?
I am just curious in knowing about it.
Thanks.

Its just a saying you completely nutty madman!!!!
American: "My 2 Cents Worth"
British: "Put my penny in"
Chinese "Eat my labrador"
There is no mythical magical history behind it. Its just a slang saying.

This is what I found regarding your question, I do not know if anyone else can confirm this.
Meaning
Offer an opinion.
Origin
Poker games often required a small bet to be made by a new player before they could join the game. Notionally offering two cents (or two bits) late came to be used as a way of entering your opinion in a conversation

I'm just curious...why the interest in slang sayings? Cool thought. Are there any other ones you are interested in learning about?
Carrie: Someone\'s definition of what constitutes cheating is in direct proportion to how much they themselves want to cheat.
Miranda: That\'s moral relativism!
Carrie: I prefer to think of it as quantum cheating.

bludgeon,
Would you really sell your thoughts that cheaply?
Although it all depens on which one of your thoughts you get for that price
