An easy way to tell is to look under the AO users info next to the post. I will say "Proxy Detected" if they are using one. I can't say how reliable it is but I have seen it from time to time.

Also, the term Anonymous proxy is sort of a misnomer. I'd look into proxy chaining to be certain that you keep true anonymity.
