    installing phpBB?

    I just finished installing apache 2.0.47 with php 4.3.3 support on winxp pro.
    Then I downloaded Mysql 4.0.15. What do I need to with my sql for phpBB to work.
    Do I just need to install it and have the server running? Or is there something else I need to do? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Very Little

    Once you have Apache and MySQL running all you have to do before firing up phpBB is create a database for phpBB to use in your mysql. Security on the other hand is a whole other topic.

    I'm so excited. I finally got my phpbb to work.
    The problem was that i had my ip instead of localhost a the install page.
