    Hi S3cur|ty4ng31,

I wish I had the enthusiasm of youth, rather than the cynicism of old age? I have seen these little games far too often in my "warm and friendly dialogues with HR departments" .....doesn't anyone read Dilbert these days?..............what corporate role did Catbert fill?

It seems like simple math(s) to me that a prize FUND (that is the lot folks) of $25,000, is very small?. It might get you a half page for 2 weeks in a popular computer magazine.........and how many "entrants"?????????????? I am suggesting that we reconsider what the "anti" in AntiOnline means?............not all exploits are malware............a lot live in the HR Department?

My dear S3cur|ty4ng31 you are hereby nominated as my champion for this mortal combat.........take the money and run.............good on ya!..............and "Bring me the head of the HR Director"

May the force(S) be with you.........my lot, the Aus. guys, a few out of Bragg and so on?

    Good Luck

And my apologies to those who did not understand some of my pathetic attempts at humour

    Nihil

I will do my best to make you and the other AO's proud.

I actually competed in one of these outsourced topcoder challneges before at the the SunOne Networking Conference. I made it all the way to the semi-finals and was eliminated on a tie where the guy had done better than me in the previous round. And I got about a 1/8 page on Suns website...woohhoooo

    http://sunnetwork.sun.com/sf2002/inf...es/winners.jsp

But Im not in it for the job, just the challenge of coding..well and some extra $$$$

Go for it!..................hell I almost said that the last time I coded was 80 column punched cards.........it would have been a "terminological inexactitude"..........that what the guys in Congress call a damned lie, but not THAT far out, give or take 15 years?

You will get a lot of support from AO people I hope..............me...............forget its head......a one second exposure at 900x?

Obviously I am in no position to nominate you for the task, but you are entitled to enter, and will have my PERSONAL support...I hope fellow AOers will join in that support, and for any others who feel like it (still know where my money will be laid)

    Good Luck!

I wish I could code. I think google is doing some smart business with this contest. They can see whats out there and maybe find a great hire. It's an ingenious idea, though things like this have been done before. Not only just coding, but I've seen mechanic contest of this nature. More power to you S3cur|ty4ng31 and good luck!
