    post messages that inform and help other members==people will give you positive antipoints

    post messages that piss others off and sak how to hack hotmail==negative antipoints

    pretty simple...read the FAQs though...

    Antipoints are given out by members to members. There are positive antipoints and negative antipoints. Think of it like a gold star and red marker idea. You get gold stars when someone approves or agrees with a post; you get red marked when someone disagrees or disapproves of your post.

    Let me give you some advice.... you may want to first start here

    When you are done with that some quick points of advice..... welcome
    Please dont talk in caps...its kinda annoying

    MOST IMPORTANT ( I know I know that caps) Dont worry about how to get points or if you are getting points. Worry more about how you can help the community of AO. Try helping people that are lost out and try to write some original tutorials or things along this nature. Again welcome and please read through those FAQ's

    Nice to see advice being givien to a newbie rather than flames for what is a coupling of annoying traits, asking for points and CAPS.

    No its not, this place has been getting better lately, look at this post for instance help was offered deespite so many negs for such a minor post. I might close it as this guy has'nt posted again and is probably afraid that if he does he will be banned which is probably right judging by how harsh points are giving to newbies these days. Anyway a while ago everyone would have just flamed this guy, its been uphill.

    Nope... I disagree.

    They tottaly have it easy here now days, man.

    Everyone seems to forget around 99-2002. No user-names could be seen in AP, group greenie therapy, gang negs, hell now days I've seen noobies jump to addict or even senior within a matter of months here which is beyond speedy compaired to the chaos that used to happen around here. And you know most users send greenies for no reason or chose green with their "comments" for fear of retaliation now...
