I am not saying they are the best, with *nix its all about choice - so I prefer to use Mozilla Firebird for web browsing .....
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/fire...ase-notes.html
and ....
k3b for burning .... k3b when set up, will even do dvd burning (with a dvd burner of course) and dvd rips for you into nice Xvid's or Divx avi's - only if you own that dvd that is ;-) .... and easy to use with what I think is a Nero'ish GUI.

memory says opera, i also say opera, best browser for linux and windoze if u ask me, apart from opera, i have found konqueror to be quite ok if im using a box at the uni with opera not installed on it...
if you dont care about images much, lynx is very fast to bring up text and stuff like that... ive used it before, very simple to use but its kinda no frills, antionline works on it ( it did before jupm took over, but havnt tried it since then so dont quote me on that) quite well, im just the kinda person who uses the keyboard a lot

I like Konqeruer, and use it a lot .... but it has a few deficiencies that mozillia usually makes up for.
I hate this place, nothing works here, I\'ve been here for 7 years, the medication does\'nt work...

I use Konq alot. But to me the best Linux/*NIX browsers are:
Links, E-Links, Lynx, Konq And my fav, Galeon.
Links is better than lynx in my opinion, just the way links displays things i like more. elinks is justabout the same. Galeon though is the ****.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
