I don't listen to Rush much but on occasions I have, I don't recall him ever slamming someone for abusing pain medication. Sure he's slammed policies and politicians who have been caught lying, and twisting power. I have never heard him preach that he was a saint and he's not a public official, so help me understand the "hypocrisy", I am not seeing it? But like I said I don't listen that much so maybe those of you who listen everyday can shed some light. I would also like to see the hidden power that has the balls to use Rush as a “tool.” Sometimes he is more of a pain in the ass to Republicans trying to snowball people as he is to Democrats.

From what I can tell, he got hooked on pain killers after a back operation. The same thing happens to a lot of people, unfortunately. After a severe operation, you need to take pain killers, and it is quite easy to get hooked (says on the label ) This is just another attempt to bring Rush down by all the people who dislike him for his opinions.

I dislike Rush but what he said was not racist, disrespectful? yes, mean? yes, politically incorrect? yes, but racist? no. He spoke what he believed and he never said anything that was racist. But his words could be construed as racism, and that sadly happens a lot now to a lot of people. It is easy to take someone as outspoken as Rush down. In this matter he has my support for I believe he was not in the wrong. Just my opinion
