    hi

    do anyone of u know about the socket error 226!
    why does it occur and how it can be resolved.

    This is hp-ux 11i

    Actually i am trying to start the services of siteminder! which gives me the following error
    Failed to initialize UDP server socket: Socket error:226
    Failed to initialize TCP server socket: Socket error:226

    I have no idea what this is but if this application wants to open up ports below 1024 you need to run it as root.
