Windows or *nix?
Windows NT/2000/XP: should be, IIRC, under <winnt>/system32/drivers/etc/
*nix: usually /etc directory

MsMittens is correct. Once you open the file scroll down and delete all lines with google in them. Because, you may have google.uk, google.ru, google.net and so on so you simply delete the line and save the page.

in win9x, it is located in
c:\windows\hosts
c:\windows\lmhosts
EDIT:
I was wrong about the other info.. see msmittens post below.
Thanks for correcting me!
Quitmzilla is a firefox extension that gives you stats on how long you have quit smoking, how much money you\'ve saved, how much you haven\'t smoked and recent milestones. Very helpful for people who quit smoking and used to smoke at their computers... Helps out with the urges.

lmhosts is for Netbios to IP addressing (used with WINS server)
hosts is for DNS to IP addressing (used with DNS server)
They are not the same. If this is for DNS (Internet addresses), then use hosts. If it's for NetBIOS (lan), use lmhosts.
