Well, first off, I would recommend replacing the fan on your search engine. It may be burned out. If that doesnt work, try cleaning off your hard drive in the sink, or a magnet. Put acid on the platter to get a very deep sexy squeaky cleaning. Now, for my question. Where do you come from cotton eyed joe?

Whats wrong with Norton's fine line of products, especially their firewall..? If the user isn't a complete incompetent jackass then the firewall works perfectly.. he probably had it set to allow all incoming connections and what not... don't blame Norton for his stupidity....

Wow, michael737n, okay basically if you know how to set a firewall up to actually block some incoming connections as :-\ said, your 10 year old brother might not be able to 'hack' it. Blocking some connections you say? *GASP!*
Anyway you should calm down on the flaming a bit too, shouldnt disrespect people who are just trying to help or bring some humor into it.

michael737n - unless you are flipping dipswitchs (or jumping jumpers) to change rules on the firewall then you are using a software firewall of some sorts.
Hell, one of the best on the market is Checkpoint FW1... they are software. Of course you can buy hardware appliances that are dedicated to only running a firewall, but that doesn't make it a hardware firewall.
I have seen this misnomer used much too often as of late.
