Overboard to say the least
I do believe that some people are getting (getting??) a tad ridiculas.
'Master' and 'slave' computer labels unacceptable, officials say
Los Angeles officials have asked that manufacturers, suppliers and contractors stop using the terms "master" and "slave" on computer equipment, saying such terms are unacceptable and offensive.

screw them
And they should also ban all equipment containing such items
as SCREWS. I mean, that's disgusting that part A should be
SCREWED together with part B. Don't get me started on those electrical
connectors that some MORON insisted on labeling MALE
and FEMALE. It's filthy.
I could complain about religious bias in operating systems, all those
DAEMONS in linux, and the ICONS in windows,
CANONICAL domain names, MAGIC numbers.
The PC is getting too PC.
I came in to the world with nothing. I still have most of it.
