I would not say you are rambling.
Have you ever caught yourself changing what you were about to say mid-sentence or changing what you were about to do mid-stream just because you may alter the outcome of a situation by re-phrasing your sentence of picking something up with your left hand instead of your right? This gets really interesting when you throw DeJavu into the scenario. When this happens to me I generally see how long I can play out the scenario that seems familiar instead of saying "Whoa, DeJavu". I have really freaked myself out doing this before. I had an occurrence go on like this before and I knew exactly what I was supposed to do and say and exactly what the reactions of the people around me were going to be. And sometimes you really go out on a limb when someone says "The wind is really cold today" and instead of saying "yeah, I know", A DejaVu feeling comes over you and you know that your response is supposed to be "Snow never sticks to flag poles, but your tongue will". The longest that I have ever followed through with the familiar thoughts, phrases, and surroundings of a DeJavu Scenario is probably 30 seconds. But that is a totally different subject.
It's comforting to know that there are others who do not see such subjects as merely whimsical thinking.
