The bigger shame? That it took this long to bring the man to charges. Now if he spends a day in jail is another thing. If it was anybody else, they will be spending their days in solitary confinement because the inmates will bash their ****ing head in because they are the bottom of the barrel.

well according to the news, it lookes like nothing is going to happon... the DA has put of charges 2 times or somthing,, insurfishant evadance.

I was sitting in Dennys the other night and heard "I'm Bad". And when i think about it... he was ****ing BAD ASS. He coined the phrase.I remember being a small boy, thats all i can remember when i think of the music i heard when i was so young. And he sang with soul, and spirit! Very talented man. It is very sad to see what he has become. He was an icon that held a lot of meaning for alot of people. He has become a criminal of the worst kind. One that preys on innocence. I like to think that there is hope that he didnt do it... but lets all get real... this guy is really gonna be screwed in jail.

He was an afro American as a kid......now he looks like a character played by Johnny Depp?
Alright, in bad taste, but I did not start the thread:

Forgive me, but i will always live by 'innocent till proven guilty'.
I really dont think he did it - why would someone who is ALWAYS in the media spotlight put their entire career and life on the line by doing something stupid like that?
However, if it *is* true (which i highly doubt) he needs mental help, not jail - being in the media spotlight all his life has clearly sent the guy wacko.
And if its false - then i think he deserves one hell of an apology.
(oh, and he has produced some of the best music know to man. better than the crap we have shoved down our throats nowdays.)
