switching GUI's
quick questions, i have had redhat linux 9 running for awhile now, and i know i chose to install both gnome and kde, i was wondering if there is anyway i can switch between the two?

In the new version 8 and 9, you are running KDE and GNOME at the same time, in older versions you need to switch between them. Why switch?, well the newest free software is writen in GNOME first, then when fully stable there is a KDE version released. Also in KDE, you get a full office (exactly like Microsoft office) for FREE. This is Koffice.
Other Linux are Mandrake, Cadera (Sp?) and Debasion (Sp?). Mandrake I never really liked. Cadera you have to buy, get full suport, but hasn't been updated in long time as it only gets updated if things are super stable. Debasion is for programmers, you can write, edit and do anything.

awesome thanks, i just booted up using KDE, and to be honest it kicks ass, i think gnome kinda sucks now haha .

for future referance <ctrl>+<alt><Backspace> then gnome-session or startkde etc...
