I had this problem when i updated IE 6.0 with Sp1. I had to uninstall Sp1, but l8r found out it was becoz of TSRs taking up a lot of RAM, so for me the option was to either free up RAM by killing nonessential TSRs or increasing RAM! i did both : increased RAM frm 256 to 384 MBs and killed some TSRs i didn't reaaly want!!! U can try this and mebbe get over ur problem!!!
The more things change, the more they stay the same!!!

q-bel,
they way things are, i would suggest you run an antivirus program just to rule out any virus infection on your system. if you don't have one, you can go to the www.symantec.com and look for 'free online scan' in the security response page. then go visit microsoft webpage, look for the 'downloads' link under the 'RESOURCES' section and download the Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1. hope this will help solve your problem.
Turn on. Tune in. Drop out.
