    a question about linux?

    i was just wondering since it seems all of you have good taste, where should i download linux from. i have heard of red hat but i was just wondering about AO's take

    Depends on how comfortable you are. I'd suggest starting with Suse, Redhat or Knoppix if you are relatively new to Linux.

    and you can't get the next version of redhat for free (at least not legally). The free version will be called Fedora or something. (not sure if that has started yet or not since I use YDL so I dont' know when that goes into effect)
