OK,

It sounds as if the video has not been recognised by Windows: try this:

Click on <start>
Then <settings>
Then <control panel>
Select the <system> icon
select the <device manager> tab
Open the <Display Adapters> icon
Highlight your display adapter and click on the properties button

Does it say "This device is working properly"

If it does, click on the <driver> tab
Select the update driver tab

let Windows search for a better driver

Put you Win98se Cd in the CD drive

The drivers are located in the folder called Win98 NOT the folder called "drivers"
