Hmmm i'm really sorry, i didn't mean to start a war between you guys ... but i just want to add that if google.com was the reply to all posts then what would be the point in having a forum on this site ... i mean there might as well just be a big image saying GO TO GOOGLE !!

I know that google is a very good resource in the world of finding information (specially about computers/networks/programs etc) and i had indeed searched there before posting the question ... but i found that there were loads of sites, all with networking information, but some of them had too little (basically just an overview) whereas some of them had way to much for me. Anyway i decided to post because i have great respect for the society of AO members and i was hoping to acquire a link to a site that one of you guys found useful when you were learning about networking .... and i did, thank you very much lansing_banda dude!
