If you need everything to be "GUI'd" up for you and all pretty and easy to use, then go back to Windows. I think everyone should try Linux (just to experience it) but it's not the solution for everyone. You have to be willing to work with text.. you have to be willing to get your hands dirty and you have to be willing to learn. There's no difference between text and GUI except that text takes a little more work (although I find most of the time.. it's simpler and always easier to automate). If you have a problem with using a console/text-only app.. then Linux is definately not the operating system for you.... wait until you are a little more experienced with computers... Windows was designed to be controlled from a GUI, Linux wasn't (and hopefully never will be)...
