My point isn't so much about the removal of the 10 Commandments monument, it's that a single person caused it to be done. Once upon a time, majority ruled in this country. In this nation's zeal to pacify everyone, that no longer seems to be the case, and by pacifying one, or a small segment of society, the majority is being alienated and angered. I think that's off the subject of this thread, though.
I wonder if some of the anti Christ/ian foment isn't caused by fear or a feeling of inferiority or insecurity?

I would like to say something first before I begin, damit already did. Well, this war against Christ is apart of the NEW WORLD ORDER plan...more on that later. To understand my point of view, I am a Roman Catholic but by no means strict and go to a public school<ahh such horror>. <In school we have a newspaper. Most of the time I don't read it cause they can't spell. This yr. I looked at it. For November: happy ramhadan(however you spell it!) No happy Thanksgiving!!! I love my turkey, dummkopf! For December: Happy Holidays!!! nooooo- Merry Christmas. You don't even have to be Christian to celebrate it, sense nobody know what it is about anyway! Sorry had to get that out! >Christianity and Judism are the only religions in the way of them! The probelm of this NWO is that it is utopian, it will imprision us, and will only end up worse than before(much worse). I could go on about the NWO but you can find that on the net. Religions never mix together, never. The only way to somewhat live together is to say .. I believe in what I believe and you believe in what you believe lets just be friends(or not!..umm)--lol yes it sounds like the purple dino on t.v., but it works for me! I never blew anybody up yet-so it must of!-joke This country was founded with the Christian God in mind - look on the dollar, but also religous freedom to practice any kind you want too. The money should be for everybody!

<retoric>really though why aren't these decisions put to a public referandum. why aren't the majority allowed to have a say.</retoric> a few are offended and a few decide to cater to them. if someone is offended by something thats not offensive then it should only be the problem of the offended. i find someone getting a scholarship offensive if its not given to me....i dont want to see statues of an old man holding stones, i want to see naked blindfolded bitches holding scales or nothing. and i dont care how many thousands you gave to an artist to give you what you want. just who in hell do you think you are? give it to ME or i take you to court.

True. The majority doesn't notice this happening. And the ones who do are left alone in the dark. Truely it is an illusion. The minority is the majority now, since they have all the high positions. And what you and me say doesn't matter.

Which, was my point in a way in another thread about the offensive language someone used to vent upon naughty teens. Souleman took exception to it due to the law being the majority opinion etc etc. What I was coming around to say you two have now stated best.
It is indeed the minority ruling the majority.

I'm still waiting for some one single person to take offense to the fact that our employees in Congress open with a prayer, or a single person to complain that the President mentions God periodically. I also wonder if the day will come when one of these people will want Lincoln's Gettsburg Address altered, removing the part "that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom."

i dont believe that kurt_der_koenig. i think we are the majority...the stupid majority because they have us believing that were not. i think we have the power to take our country back from these 'evil' few. all we have to do is make our views known to our representatives in mass. after all the politicians support the largest voting group (if they want to keep their jobs). these few are very vocal being heard above the rest of us but theres more of us so theres no need for us to yell. all we have to do is speak. these things are happening because we are allowing them to with our silence and not because what 'they' want is basically right. its not.
theres nothing un-american about being godless thats freedom of choice but these few are anti god which only infringes upon the rights of others to persue happiness in the things they like and want. theology is a valid field of study. a statue of moses holding the ten commandments is art to some, more to others but in no way represents an un-american concept. tearing it down does
hmmm! i wonder if saying the phrase "the ten commandments" should be made illegal. everyone should be forced to say "some ten commandments" or "the judeo-christian commandments" or even " god and moses' excellant adventure" or appear before a federal court. for "The" implys that there can be only ten and these are they. discrediting any religion not based upon them. huhh wadda ya say?

umm..true
We can talk all day,24/7,for the rest of our lifes here in this forum. Talking about how this is happening and how it is wrong. Which it is! But until we conjure up and revolt(and we don't have to kill people, the computer which you sit at can bring the world to its knees!),we will not be heard. If one person was to do this, then people will just think that they are mad/stupid.
<Chuck56> I do agree with you on the Congress. I somewhat believe that they still do it because they can fall back on it! For example: if someone says"Hey, your attacking Christ!" : Then they could say "How could we attack Christ, when we pray to him everyday?".And also when you go on the witness stand in Court you have to put your oath to God!?
To everybody::: When you reply to me or whatever you can just call me " Kurt "! You don't have to type all of "kurt_der_koenig"!
