    i would like to know what is proxy?
    i have 2 computers and one telephone can i connect two computers on one telephone line,if yes how do i ?

    Ask your question in a new thread praveendasika,as to your answer...there're several options...you could get them on a LAN,connect them via parallel ports...fcourse if it's just dialup it really doesnt matter

    Why use a proxy, a software router is just as good and can in some cases be more secure, try freesco (www.freesco.org) or Smoothwall, an opensource (I think) router/VPN/firewall linux distro based OS thingy, check it out at www.smoothwall.org
