Great Post!
As a newbie I was aghast to discover after downloading and running your suggested programs: Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy that my box was infected with over 350 forms of spyware and malicious cookies. I feel so violated
I've been on line, wired and working on the Internet forever; run Antivirus, Firewall, Zone Alarm.....everything I could think of yet I had neglected to change my browser settings to not accept cookies.
Anyway, thank all of you tech guru's for the info...............these tools and the knowledge are a necessity today. Now I just need to tear myself away from this website and get some work done........................Thank you again!!!

What about a HJT tutorial?
Maybe a Spybot tutorial?
Throw in an Adaware tutorial?
A browser hardening tutorial..
And last, a home network security tutorial?
