Spreading of APs

Hello All:

Just a clarification about AP's... [ Thought I'll ask while still I'm a newbie... 2 good being a newbie ]
I tried to assign AP's to a poster in a thread.. It shows that 'U need to spread your APs b4 assigning it to the user again' ... I've seen some threads of users talkin' of the issue but, I couldn't actually grasp what I wanted to know.. I haven't seen about it in the AP FAQs page though ... In this case, I haven't assigned AP's to the member before, but still I can't assign him points .. What does the message actually imply ( /me feels like not understanding English )...

it means that u assgined APs to him and you need to assign APs to ten other people before assignign some to him again, and the maximum AP assigments in one day u can assign are ten, maybe thats why u got the message. ?
