Well whaddayaknow.....

I had this old box lying around and the first Red Hat 8 installation CD of three (can't find the other 2) and I figured I'd try installing anyways. So I pop in the CD and go through all the steps... And I'm like "this is great" cause it was intalling without a hitch. So it's about done and suddenly at 98% it ejects the CD and says "insert CD 2"

To make a long story short, I was angry.

I'm going to bed now. Obviously I'm talking to myself here. G'night

lol they put all those disk's for a reason you're missing one you can't install...why don't you download CD2?
is there a way to format without having to go into DOS or even connecting it to the computer but keeping the HD avalible for use?
