Hi Ennis,
I have Das Kapital..............unfortunately it is a Victorian/Edwardian translation, so is rather "flat"

First off, I'm so happy to see my little ol' thread has 15 pages of replies ... LOL, I love it!
Second, thanks for hijacking the last 3 pages of it! :P
Third, hope everyone [In the USA] had a wonderful 4th of July.
Fourth, there is no fourth. Thanks for playing.
In Michigan, if it leaves the ground, explodes, or burns to bright or to loud, it's illegal. Needless to say everything I lit on the 4th was not legal.
I went through a brick of M-80s, M-88s, M-1000s and bottle rockets.
I experimented, I watched how taking a flower pot, and shoving an M-88 inside would blow it a few feet into the air and how many peices it would land in. Lol. I saved a few. Should be fun. Hehe.
Blah, 7:41 AM and I'm awake. This getting up early thing really kills.
It's early enough that the neighboor girl that's really hot isn't up yet but late enough that she's in bed already Ah well. I know somethng that would wake her up, and I have a lighter ready for the fuse

Banned
DAMN THE FIREWORK LAWS! The same is true in California. If it explodes, leaves the ground it's illegal. Not to mention, they've now banned sparklers ... wtf? IT'S A SPARKLER! Only they have taken it one step further. They now have monetary incentives to snitch on your neighbors for lighting illegal fireworks.
BUT ... there is a bright side. In 10 weeks, the federal firearms ban will expire. Now I understand state firearms laws precede federal ones. BUT ... Nevada is only 1 hr. away, and I can finally go buy that pre-ban AK-47 I've been wanting so long. Or ... that UZI model B. Both would be a nice addition to my collection.

So... I shoot off anything and everything when its not even the 4rth of july and no one gives a crap. I just fire away... no one ever takes those laws seriously and most of the time towns ignore them so much that cops litterally can't arrest a whole town unless they bring tanks. Half the time you don't even need to drive out of state to buy what you want either... any criminal such as me could find what they want if they look hard enought.

That's another dumb thing about Michigan, I can get an AK-47 right now, which I don't need to, because I can't afford one at the moment, but my best friend has one anyway. Those are legal here, but fire crackers aren't. that and the mini-14 he has next to his bed. I can shoot assualt weapons, but can't have fire works, lol.

The place we bought our fireworks made us sign a release that we were purchasing them for 'legal' purposes...it was a stretch, but we found a loophole that says you can use fireworks to rid your livestock buildings of birds. Since we have a barn ... LOL! So we had completely illegal fireworks, but it was fun. Except when the thingy w/ the mortar rounds in it turned over and shot directly at us instead of in the sky.

It makes sense here.
At least this discussion didn't turn sexual. Yet.
